Made-to-Order Production Time
Each Alameda Turquesa piece is created especially for you.
Our usual production time is approximately 2 weeks, but it can vary significantly depending on the item, its complexity, and the number of orders we are fulfilling at the time.
In some cases, your piece may be ready in as little as 2 days, while during peak periods it may take up to 4–6 weeks. We are a small, dedicated team, and every detail is handmade with care.

Returns & Exchanges
All our pieces are made to order — we do not keep stock. Each Alameda Turquesa creation takes between 4 and 30 hours to produce, handcrafted by our small team of artisans in our atelier in Portugal.
When you place an order through our online boutique, please note that your piece is made especially for you, with time, dedication, and care. For this reason, we do not offer refunds, but we do accept returns on shoes only, in exchange for a coupon code valid for 6 months on our website.
As a handmade-to-order brand, we produce every item individually and with intention. We believe each customer deserves personal attention — and every pair of shoes is made specifically for the person who ordered them. When your Alameda Turquesa piece arrives, know that it was created just for you.
We are frequently out of stock and are constantly working to improve our processes and service.
Shoe Fit Exchanges
We accept exchanges for shoes only in cases of sizing issues, and only within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. Please visit our Exchanges page for full instructions.
Sample Sale
All Sample Sale purchases are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges on Sample Sale items.
Refused Shipments
If you choose to refuse delivery of your parcel, it will be returned to us and may incur dual VAT charges (import and export). These fees will be deducted from your store credit. In some cases, customs authorities may destroy the package, and no credit will be issued.
Return Shipping Responsibility
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense, and we are not responsible for any delivery issues or delays caused by your chosen courier.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method with a signature requirement.
If you wish to return an item for adjustments, both the initial and return shipping costs will be your responsibility.
Return Conditions
Returns for credit notes or coupon code and exchanges (shoes only) will be accepted only if approved by our customer service team. The return must be initiated within 14 calendar days of receipt, and items must be in perfect, unused, and undamaged condition, with all original packaging.
Order Cancellations
If a customer requests to cancel an order after production has begun or once the piece is completed, a refund by coupon code may still be issued. However, we will retain 40% of the total amount to cover the time, materials, and craftsmanship already invested by our team.
Exchanges
Exchanges
We do accept exchanges on shoes in cases of fit issues, provided the request is made within 14 calendar days of receipt.
To be eligible, shoes must be returned in their original condition, completely unworn, and with all original packaging, including the box and dust bags.
Please try your shoes on a clean, carpeted surface, as any signs of wear on the soles will make the exchange ineligible.
Alameda Turquesa reserves the right to refuse any exchange that does not meet these conditions. If your exchange is not accepted, the item will be returned to you at your own expense.
Bags, bikinis, and jewellery are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstance.
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to the exchange process.
