This family-owned brand began its journey in 2012 on Facebook, sparked by a simple yet exquisite creation—a pom-pom bracelet handcrafted by Ana for her two daughters. Following the overwhelming success of her bracelets and necklaces, which went viral online, Alameda Turquesa evolved into a luxury footwear brand in 2014, quite literally placing its signature bracelets at our feet. That same year, the iconic ‘Matisse’ and ‘Santorini’ pom-pom sandals took the fashion world by storm, worn and celebrated by style icons such as Anna Dello Russo and Chiara Ferragni, who shared their love for Alameda Turquesa on Instagram.

Founded by a mother-daughter duo, Ana and Carolina, Alameda Turquesa is a testament to passion turned into artistry. Ana, an entrepreneur, and Carolina, a trained architect with a master’s degree from one of Europe’s top architecture schools, transformed a hobby into a thriving brand, driven by a shared love for craftsmanship and design.

Three years later, Alameda Turquesa introduced another groundbreaking collection—‘Pearls & Seashells’—which remains a best-seller to this day. Designs like ‘Ariel’ and ‘Guadeloupe’ have become some of the brand’s most recognizable and beloved pieces.

In 2024, Alameda Turquesa made its debut on the global stage of Emily in Paris, with the main character, Emily, wearing our designs in the series.
