Delivery Times & Costs

We offer worldwide shipping

We ship with DHL Express. Express shipping takes 1-3 days, after the order is shipped***.Countries that we use only CTT registered mail are: Portugal

The countries that for now we can’t ship to are: Russia and Iran

All orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and Portuguese holidays. Delivery time is currently in 1-3 days from the moment the order leaves our Atelier (in Coimbra, Portugal, where we make every piece by hand), but please note that every item is made to order, so after you place your order, and before we ship it, we need some days to actually make the piece. That time may vary***.

 

Please note that the delivery can be delayed due to your country’s customs. Alameda Turquesa is not responsible for any unexpected delay occurring during the shipment by DHL.

 

DHL cannot delivery to P.O. boxes or to General Delivery/Poste Restante addresses. Alameda Turquesa is not responsible for packages once they have been scanned and delivered.

 

***IMPORTANT INFO*** Every Alameda Turquesa piece is made-to-order. The production time can be between two days and six weeks, depending of the numbers of orders and of the overload of work, we are small team here at our atelier, everything is artisanal. If you have a special event and you need to receive your piece asap, send us an email to shop@alamedaturquesa.com so we can make the best we can to put your order on priority.

Taxes & Duties

Orders to be delivery in EU have no duties, so you will not pay any extra fee or customs taxes, same with US customers.

For the rest of the world we ship all items Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU). Once your order is shipped, the carrier will bill you to pay all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to.

If the customer refuses the delivery due to the import duties and fees, taxes and any other charges and fees, the package will either be destroyed or returned to it’s sender, in those cases, any additional fee occurred will be the responsibility of the customer and original order will NOT be refundable.

ORDER TRACKING

Once your order has been dispatched, you will received an email containing an air waybill number, and a link, that way you will know how to track your order online. You can track your order at DHL.com (For all orders all over the world) or CTT.pt (For all orders within Portugal)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1- Please make sure your shipping address is correct. We are unable to re-direct orders once they have been dispatched – orders that are returned because of an invalid address may be reshipped at your expense. After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Any additional shipping costs are non refundable.

2- Every Alameda Turquesa piece is made-to-order. The production time can be between two days and five weeks, depending of the numbers of orders and of the overload of work, we are small team here at our atelier, everything is artisanal. The maximal delay of the dispatch is of 5 weeks from the day of the order, but we will keep you informed by email. If you have a special event and you need to receive your piece asap, send us an email to shop@alamedaturquesa.com so we can make the best we can to put your order on priority.
